How to Contribute

Reporting Issues


If you encounter bugs or have suggestions:
1. Check existing GitHub Issues to avoid duplicates
2. Create a new issue with:
- Clear description of the problem or suggestion
- Steps to reproduce (for bugs)
- Expected vs. actual behavior
- Your environment (Claude Code version, OS, etc.)

Suggesting Improvements

For Commands:
- Propose new workflow commands in .claude/commands/

Submitting Changes

SEO Machine

Installation

1. Clone this repository:

2. Install Python dependencies for analysis modules:

Docker Setup

Before running Docker, configure data_sources/config/.env with your credentials.

Content directories are mounted as volumes, so files in topics/, research/, drafts/, published/, output/, rewrites/, context/, and credentials/ persist on your host.

WordPress Integration

Publishing uses the WordPress REST API with a custom MU-plugin that exposes Yoast SEO fields.

Setup:
1. Install wordpress/seo-machine-yoast-rest.php as an MU-plugin on your WordPress site
2. Add wordpress/functions-snippet.php to your theme's functions.php
